This unit hasn't been updated in probably 30+ years. Bathrooms, cabinets etc are all in serious need of a refresh. Missing trim and knobs, old corroded faucets and showers...although it was well cleaned before we used it. Beach and pool are great. No issues with building. We'd stay here again, but not in this unit.

best senior trip for my daughter!!

Our family of 8 went to Destin to celebrate my daughter’s high school graduation. Our condo in Majestic Sun was perfect for our needs! Unbeatable location to the beach just a short walk across the road and beautiful beach view from our balcony! We are already discussing renting this condo again next summer for another great trip to Destin! We loved it!

We enjoyed our stay. Seascape offers 1/2 off on beach chair rentals but the chairs that you get the 1/2 off deal is down the beach nowhere in front of the building and they couldn’t be reserved for each day you stay. Everything was great other than the mattress is needing an up grade and the tubs are old. The drains didn’t drain fast enough the tubs hold a 3 inches of water while you shower.

Only minor maintenance needed - mattresses in 2 bedrooms needed to be changed our sleep was uncomfortable because mattresses are wearing/worn and vacuum cleaner did not work...it’s cord was torn/ripped or cut prior to our stay

vacation in ruins

The rental was clean and located directly across from the beach. It was an a comfortable condo with all amenities needed. However, after spending over $400 dollars for groceries the refrigerator stopped working the first day. After many attempts to contact management, they finally delivered a small temporary refrigerator 2 days after requesting a replacement. At that point i lost over $300 dollars due to spoiled food. They promised a new one would be delivered within 24 hours, but it never showed up to the day we checked out. I was never compensated for this loss. all communication with management clearly lacked any sort of priority.

Views were awesome! Condo overall not very clean as floors were gritty feeling and had black marks from prior stains. Couch bed was broke anddd had food & crayons in it. Could of been cleaned way better.

This is our 3rd year returning to the resort and it did not disappoint other than there only being 2 working elevators instead of 3. But the unit needs some TLC. Broken blinds just shoved behind a chair. Balcony door didn’t lock off of master bedroom. Food in the bottom of the dishwasher. Desperately needs a deep clean, baseboards were thick with dirt where the cleaning has just been rushed through. Overall disappointed when compared to the other units we have stayed in.

We stayed here for my daughters graduation trip. The unit overall was great and fit 10 people comfortably. My only complaint was we found a mug in the cabinet with sometype of food left in it and the pots could use replacing as some of them that we needed did not have covers to fit them. The elevators at the Majestic were really slow and always crowded. I would stay here again, overall it was a very nice place right across the street from the beach with a great view.

Amazing views, great location. Only drawback is the condition of the condo. This condo needs a complete thorough cleaning. The decor is faded and the shower in the master was gross. The tub is old and stained. The condo also needs a total paint. I realize you go to the beach for the beach, and this location delivers. However, it would have been a better experience if the unit was in better condition.

We loved the location right across from the beach, had incredible views and was close to everything. Also, the condo was spacious and we had more than enough room for our entire party.
The building and unit was in major need of updates and wasn’t as clean as we would like. Shower curtains had black mold on them, there weren’t ample amenities (no soap in bathroom or kitchen) and appliances clearly needed replacing.

snowbird stay
Overall Comment
Staying in this unit for 2 and 1/2 months--Jan 2 to March 15. Great way to spend the winter out of the very cold and snowy weather. Enjoy this unit and plan to be back next winter for our 3rd year in this unit. Great view of the Gulf and water sand instead of snow and ice.

Had some issues with signing the agreement and no A/C upon arrival. Sharona provided excellent customer service and made sure that all issues were corrected. The condo could use some more kitchen items. I had to buy my own spatula to cook breakfast. Overall, condo was nice.
