Unit was nice but dated. The bed downstairs slept great, plenty of towels. Top rack of dishwasher was broke. The unit was in the ideal location for our group. We came for the music venue and was located very near that as well as being right beside boardwalk to get to the beach. I would definitely recommend

We've stayed at Seascape several times over several years. We love the resort and love that it's getting easier to get in and out of with the back entrance.
The location of this unit right next to the boardwalk to the beach and right next to the boardwalk pool was great because you're a little away from the crowds but so close to walk to what we wanted.
This particular unit was probably the worst we've stayed in over the years. Several maintenance issues that were not completely broken but annoying. For example: ac doesn't cool well upstairs - there are fans up there but the one in the king bedroom was so loud you can't turn it on past low (luckily it was only hot outside one night of our stay), the top rack of the dishwasher was stuck and then when we could get it open, it almost fell out, the patio and balcony were more sparsely furnished than it looks in the listing pictures and we couldn't really use either (nothing upstairs to sit on, downstairs had a missing panel in the screen door inviting all sort of mosquitoes to come in and get stuck in there with the sparse furniture), and the couches were worn well past being comfortable.
But this unit does still have all the perks of Seascape and we'll be back (though probably not to this unit)

Noisy fan in Master bedroom, broken drawers in both bedrooms upstairs, No safety bars in both bathroom tub/showers that being unsafe for elders or anyone else, ice machine stop working on frig outer door.

boardwalk villa 188
Overall Comment
Nice resort, prime location, especially during Sun Sand And Soul Music festival. Boadrwalk Villa 188 has a great location, a near perfect split between the music venue and the beach. Condo was clean, but carpet and furniture appear dated. Could stand a little "update", but that didn't really effect my fun, but may matter to others.

just a couple flaws

Vacation stater off rocky!!! Original condo was not ready... The second condo space wise was not suitable even though I slept in the number of people supposed to have... and without a washer and dryer in the condo The third condo kind of freaked out at first because the dryer was making screeching noises.and one of the TVs wouldn’t stay on... It was a beautiful condo easy access. Taylor was very helpful and so was Emily.

Great resort it was awesome, pool was spectacular, unit was 3 star because mainly the air conditioning was outdated and not working properly. Upstairs was warm yet they wouldn’t let turn down lower than 72 because unit would freeze up and leak. Furniture needed updating, overall needs updating.

Overall a good stay. It was a bit dusty around light fixtures and curtains. It was also pretty hot, especially upstairs. We had to buy fans to keep cool.

Destin area and Seascape Resort was wonderful. Our only complaint was the unit needs to be updated. The couch and chairs in the living room are gross and smell. We needed to go buy pillows since they were flat and stained.

Overall, I love the location. The mattress need updating and we couldn’t use the out door porches, because they weren’t safe and not screened in. I would also recommend the owner update the TVs.

go for the access

I love how close the unit is to the beach but the pictures of the unit did not match the pictures on the website. There was mold on the ceiling in the kitchen and bathroom, the light above the dining table was hanging by the wires, the patio was not screened in, and stains on the carpet....but the location.

This is a beautiful place to stay. I have used seascapes many years and have never really had any problems. Just a few minor issues. The upstairs bathroom light was out. The air didn't really cool the place e but that was fine because we gone most of the days we were in town. They are currently doing some construction. So we didn't have a closed in porch which was ok because it allowed the kids to play freely.
