Overall Comment

My family and I recently stayed in Unit 609 at Ariel Dunes II for four days and three nights.
We have been visiting Destin for the past 20 years and have spent many memorable vacations at Seascape. Because we enjoy the area so much and have always appreciated the resort, I wanted to share some observations and recommendations regarding the condition of this unit.
First, we recommend having the area around the kitchen trash can treated for roaches. In addition, the hallway leading into the unit needs attention. There were spider webs and small debris present, indicating that the area may not have been swept thoroughly for some time.
The shower curtain liner in the bathroom also needs to be replaced. There is visible mold on the liner, and it appears that someone attempted to clean it with a cleaning product; however, the mold remains clearly visible and replacement would be the best solution.
We also noticed that the paper towel holder in the kitchen is heavily rusted. The rust is especially noticeable on the bottom of the holder and detracts from the overall appearance of the kitchen.
The patio is in need of a thorough cleaning, and several of the patio chairs appear worn and should be replaced. Additionally, the exterior area outside the unit's entrance would benefit from pressure washing or general cleaning to improve its appearance.
Although these issues were disappointing, we made the best of our trip because we truly love visiting Destin and enjoy staying at Seascape. We understand the importance of routine inspections and preventive maintenance. A simple walkthrough inspection would have identified many of the concerns mentioned above before guests arrived.
We are sharing these comments in the spirit of helping maintain the high standards that have kept us returning to Seascape for so many years.

Overall Comment

This condo was great. Only complaint is the dishwasher being a little sticky with pulling it in and out. Other than that, the Condo was well-suited for our family.

Overall Comment

Upon arrival we did notice that one of the fridge shelves was cracked. The floor seemed to be dirty because our baby had black stuff all over his feet and hands from crawling around. The lock also stopped working prior to our checkout. Overall, the experience was good except for the beach access. We were a little disappointed with the fact that the beach was commercialized and companies set up right in front of the beach and you have to pay $60 a day just to rent an umbrella and chairs. We brought our own chairs and would’ve liked to sit down at the beach not having to purchase those since it was not budgeted, we ended up, just going to topsail and riding the tram to go to the beach there which kind of defeated the whole purpose of getting “beachfront”. If I am gonna pay for beach front id like to actually be able to go to the beach.
