Born and Raised in Alabama, Chris is a professional chef, restaurateur and the Former Managing Partner and Executive Chef at the Flora-Bama Yacht Club. Chris attended Johnson and Wales in Charleston, South Carolina. His Awards and Accolades include being one of eight Chefs from the Gulf Coast to showcase their talents at the American Village at the London Olympics. Chris has won numerous awards such as the Best of the Gulf and multiple winner of the Perdido Key Wine and Arts Festival, as well as, the Zatarain's Shrimpfest Restaurant Challenge, and a 3rd place overall finish at the 2015 World Seafood Championship.
Chris is the Co-Founder of NUISANCE Group, a non-profit driven to raise awareness of invasive, underutilized and sustainable fish, flora and fauna. This Group has spearheaded the movement to help eradicate invasive species such as lionfish, wild boar, and kudzu.
