The Whale's Tail Beach Bar & Grill, located directly on the beach at Seascape Resort, has been a Destin landmark for over twenty years. An elevated walkway over Scenic Highway 98 provides a safe avenue from the resort accommodations to the Whale's Tail and the beach. The restaurant opens at 7:00 a.m. and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Dine indoors in climate controlled comfort or enjoy the refreshing ocean breezes on the deck. Either way, you cannot get any closer to the Gulf than this.

The atmosphere is casual, and the menu features fresh seafood but includes a variety of options guaranteed to please including burgers, sandwiches and salads. The downstairs bar is only steps away from the beach and is famous for frozen tropical drinks. The Whale's Tail Gift Shop offers apparel and souvenirs as well as delicious soft-serve ice cream. The combination of great food and cold beverages on the beach overlooking the Gulf is an experience that you just can't miss.

Live Music will be provided downstairs at the Whales Tail by Blair Colsen, a local Destin Musician, every Wednesday starting in June!  Live performances start at 5pm.
